Taking Adderall regularly helps you get the most benefit. Try to take Adderall at the same time each day to help you remember.

Your doctor may adjust your dosage or tell you to stop taking Adderall for a short time to see if your behavior changes and if you still need Adderall.

You may feel withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking Adderall. Your doctor may reduce your dose of Adderall gradually to help lessen withdrawal symptoms.

Adderall comes in tablets or a long-acting capsule form. You should store Adderall at room temperature.

Take Adderall extended-release capsules whole and do not break, chew, or open them. Breaking or opening the capsule may release too much of the medicine at one time.
